Legions: Legions are formed when a group of villages decide to unite for a common goal. Any village can start a legion and declare him/herself the leader of the legion. Once formed, other villages can join the legion if they meet the requirements set by the legion leader (if any).

Creating / Joining a legion

To create a legion, enter the name of your legion and click on Register My Legion!. However, you must meet the following requirements: Have a village networth of 500K (500,000) or greater Not own or be part of a legion already Are not under siege or laying siege upon another village To join an existing legion, simply select a legion from the drop down list as shown in the print screen, and when satisfied, click on the Join This Legion! button to proceed. However, you must meet the following requirements: Not own or be part of a legion already Are not under siege or laying siege upon another village You can always click on the Click for Info column for more information about a legion before you join.

Benefits for the leader

You can set restrictions for villages who wish to enrol. The restrictions can be set for certain races, classes, elements, minimum and maximum networth, minimum level and maximum amount of members allowed within your legion... - You can enable/disable access to your legion (i.e. control whether new villages can enrol or not)... - You can upload a legion banner and change the description of your legion (e.g. include your goals, targets and what new members can expect)... - You can create up to 5 custom ranks for your members and rank anyone you wish (e.g. reward someone for their battle skills by appointing them as a Knight)... - You can distribute Outpost Defence to your members. You choose how much of your defence is distributed to each and every member... - You can Banish any member within your legion if you so wish... - You can view complete military stats for any member within your legion at anytime... - You can buy Talismans for your legion to enhance it with special bonuses which benefit all members within the legion... - You will receive huge amounts of tribute from your members if they are active and over 100K networth. This will boost your income considerably, and it doesn't come out of the individual village reserves, but is generated automatically.

Benefits for the vassal

You can participate in Legion Forums and be part of a brotherhood. Legion forums are a special place for all legion members to visit and participate. You can receive help and support from your legion members You can receive emergency trade by asking for it in the legion forums You can receive hints and tips about your village You can receive protection from the leader if he allocates some defence to you You will gain reputation points everyday so long as you are a member of a legion

Outposts: Legion leaders can erect outposts to help protect their members. Outposts allow monarches to distribute a portion of their defence and army to the legion members.

Directions: Kingdom Menu -> Legion & Empire -> Outposts

A monarch (legion leader) can erect outposts, equal to the amount of members present in the legion. Outposts require constant maintenance per turn, and are quite expensive to erect, but quite beneficial in return. Providing you are the legion leader, you can commit the following actions:

• Adjust outposts - To adjust the amount of outposts in your legion, click on Update Outposts after entering a quantity under the Adjust column
• Distribute Defence - To distribute a portion of your defence to chosen vassals, click on Modify Outpost Defence Distribution near the top of the page. A section will thus appear at the top of the page, allowing you to distribute your defence to chosen vassals as you see fit.

Legion Talismans: Legion leaders can buy and activate Talismans for their legions. Talismans can be bought from the Zhentonian Market, and grant special bonuses to all the members within the legion.

Purchasing and activating Talismans for your legion can be a great way to attract new members.
