Kingdom Buildings
What are buildings? Construction List of buildings

Buildings: As part of development of your village, you will be required to erect and research new buildings. The type of buildings you construct defines your strategy to the game, remembering that there are different builds for different purposes, so there is no right or wrong amount of a building you can erect.

Most buildings will have associated workers with them, which you will have to employ for the building to operate. As you construct more buildings, your village networth will rise, allowing further development of your colony.

Direction: Kingdom Menu -> Build Structures -> Basic / Military Buildings
The action of construction is called "setting builds". To set builds, you need to have enough resources to satisfy the building requirements. You can see how much of each resource is required by looking under the columns Stone, Wood & Metal for the building you wish to construct.

When you set builds, the construction project generates a set amount of build points (indicated under the Points column in the print screen). In order for you to bring the build to completion, you have to bring the points down to 0, with the help of builders.

Construction projects are completed by Builders. The more builders you employ for a project, the faster it will be completed.

Important: As your networth rises, the build points required to complete a construction project will rise exponentially.

Construction: Erecting builds is quite a simple and easy process, as described below.

Step 1
Step 1: Set a quantity to build

Enter the amount of units you wish to construct under the Building column for your respective building. The more units you build, the higher the build points required to finishe the project. You can enter negative quantities if you wish to demolish a building.

To set the build, click on Set Builds near the bottom of the page, or hit ENTER on your keyboard.

Step 2
Step 2: Employ builders
Enter the amount of builders you wish to employ for the construction project. This can be done by entering a value under the Builders column for the respective building. The more builders you employ, the faster the project will be completed. You can also enter negative quantites to take away builders from certain builds.

To employ the workers and finalise the build, click on Set Builds near the bottom of the page, or hit ENTER on your keyboard.

Step 3
Step 3: End turns until construction project finishes

You should see some numbers under the Points column for the respective building. This is how much build points the project requires to be brought to completion. As you end turns, your employed builders will produce build points in an attempt to finish this build.

Fields Explained

Occupants: Certain buildings will have associated workers that need to be hired for the building to operate. The amount of workers you can hire depends on the amount of units built and the Occupants / unit of building rate which is shown below.

Occupants / unit of building: This defines the rate at which the amount of workers you can employ increases per unit of building built. E.g. A building which allows 10 workers per unit built, and already has 20 units built, would allow for 20x10 workers, which equals a maximum of 200 workers.

Herals Required: This displays the amount of Herals needed to build one unit of building. Buildings that require more herals to be built also require a higher quantity of build points to be generated before they can be brought to completion.

Plan Required: Some buildings require certain plans to be researched before they can be built. A building that requires no plan can be built straight away, otherwise, you must first research the appropriate plan before being able to construct the particular structure.
